Secrets Of The Millionaire Mind – T Harv Eker
My Thoughts On T Harv Eker’s Book
“Rich people think “both.” Poor people think “either/or.” – T. Harv Eker
Hey all, so I meant to post this video a few weeks ago, but Karen and I have been very busy working on Operation Awesome Life and coming up with tons of new valuable stuff for you guys, which we are excited to be releasing to you very soon!
But I wanted to post the video anyway because the book had a big impact on me, and I think it is a must read for all people wanting to succeed in a big way.
What Is The Biggest Lesson I Learned From The Book?
This book was full of awesome valuable tips and secrets to mastering the inner game of wealth, but if I had to pick just one thing as the most valuable lesson I learned from it, I would have to say that I appreciated T Harv Eker’s concept on…
Growing yourself first, and as a byproduct of that your business will grow.
Eker makes the point that a business will only grow as much as the person running it grows. Talk about a wake up call!
I know for a fact many times I have just focused on growing my business, and sometimes even letting some other areas of myself slip.
Sometimes I even have let things important to me, such as health and fitness slip further out of control than I would want them to, justifying that I will work on those things when I reach a certain level of success with my business.
But truthfully if you look at the most successful people in the world, they are able to handle many things at once, their life isn’t about picking and choosing success in one area of their life while the others lag behind.
Sure, some people that have great success in business, may neglect other areas of their life, but then they may find themselves unhappy and overall not feeling very successful in life in general.
The people that we all want to be are people that are well rounded and successful in many areas of life, not just one at a time. But to do this, you must expand your mental capabilities.
For instance..
Rich People Constantly Learn And Grow
T Harv Eker talks about how poor people think they already know, while rich people are constantly learning and expanding their minds.
Poor people are often trying to prove they are right, while rich people are always gaining information and knowledge from people, even if it is learning what not to do! In fact Eker talks about some of his greatest lessons being watching others fail, and learning from their failures how to do things the right way!
One of his famous quotes is “You can be right or you can be rich, but you can’t be both.”
Rich People Think “Both”, Poor Think “Either Or”
He says that rich people truly believe that “You can have their cake and eat it too.” Middle class people believe that “Cake is too rich, so I’ll only have a little piece.” Poor people don’t believe they deserve cake, but wonder why they have nothing.
It can be a struggle bringing down walls of old feelings, but the best thing you can do is learn from people like Eker. In his book, he explains that he didn’t always think the way he does now. It was a process, but obviously well worth it in the end!
That’s all for now, we’ll talk to you all soon!
